- Seed rate is 10 kg/acre for line sowing & broadcast by using sand soil 1:2 ratio (1 ratio of seeds & 2 ratio of sand), for broadcasting seeds require for 4 kg/acre. Good germination percentage.
- First harvest for 75-80 days after sowing & subsequent harvest are 30 days once (when the flowers show up move to grazing).
- Green fodder yield is 6-7 t/acre/yr in if 6-7 cuts; it comes up to 2-3 yrs. High nutrient level for Protein content is 12-17%.
